Parent Cooperation
In our endeavor to provide quality education, we try to keep distractions and interruptions to a minimum. You can help us in this respect by not phoning during class time unless there is an emergency. Lunch and ride arrangements should be made before students arrive at school. P.E. uniforms and assignments left at home will need to be brought to school the following day. Students will not be allowed to call home unless there is an emergency. If you need to discuss something with me, please phone before 8:30 a.m. or after 3:15 p.m. and if I am not available then, I will do my best to return your call as promptly as possible. You may also contact me at [email protected] on the Remind app. I will answer your email as soon as I can.
Parents can also assist in a successful education by providing a healthy breakfast, snack and lunch each day. Students are encouraged to have a book of lunch tickets in their backpacks in case lunch is forgotten at home. The children should arrive at school rested and with all the materials they need each day. Students are welcome to bring cell phones or tablets to school. These must be turned off and stored inside their backpack. Periodically students will be given permission to get their cell phones or tablets out for research, reading a book or listening to an audio. If the student chooses to not follow the rules their device will be given to the office and the parents will need to pick it up after school.
The elementary school requires a PASA prearranged student absence request form. You may obtain the forms and information from the elementary office, or you may print a form from my website.
